When it comes to really good software, you don't have to look beyond anything that's not for free. In a world where software is expensive, we shouldn't overlook that the free stuff that we find online. It's true that there are things that are better when you pay for them, but you simply cannot scoff at the achievements of free software. They're well beyond competent and some of them offer better services than some of the software that you have to pay for. If we've learned anything from Google is that free and affordable services can and will out pace anything a lot of the other competitors.

You might have seen these on TV or on youtube, but there's no denying that cell phone service providers are on an all out war with each other for your subscription. Each one of them deals their own low blows all the while stating that they provide the best service there is. The people that suffer the most are the subscribers that want to know which one actually is the best. The problem with trying to marketing something is that you over exaggerate the facts so much so that you don't get the right facts and you don't get to see the downside of subscribing to a single carrier.

Using a BitTorrent is the best way to transfer huge files from computer to computer short of transferring them through devices. If you want to transfer files that are not larger than 200mb then you can try websites like rapidshare or mediafire. With BitTorrents you can use torrent files for free downloads or free file sharing with other users over the internet. If you've ever used programs like Limewire or other forms of downloading programs, then you might be familiar with this set up.
The first step to torrents would be to download a BitTorrent client. I preffer µTorrent since it's a free client and you can play Tetris with it (by going to the 'Help' tab, and then clicking on About µTorrent and then pressing 'T') but you can also choose Azureus or any other free clients.

There are a lot of people who spend their time on computers today than there were five or six years ago. Back then, regular folks used to casually go online to check e-mail, send e-mail or read news online. Outside of work we watched more television than spend time on a computer. In a span of two years things have changed. People can't get enough of the internet so much so that they even keep it in their pockets. You can say that it's because you can conveniently stay connected or because your job demands that you stay connected to the internet, but the fact is, people spend more time online because there is simply a lot more to do.

Now that we know what can go right with Google Chrome, we can take a look at the opposite side of the coin and see it for its many disadvantages. 1. You need to be on the net... Always! This is by far the biggest concern I have with Chrome. You have to do everything online and not offline. Given that it doesn't promise a great offline experience shouldn't mean that you should have no offline experience at all. What happens when you're suddenly disconnected from the web? It's almost equivalent to a sudden restart or, to the worse extent, a crash. 2.

There's a lot of speculation going on about Google's OS; a lot of it is that it's too different to work. Well, the company does have a thing for making things work. If you're open to the idea, you can make the OS work for you too.
1. It's free. Sure, the Linux distribution has been around for years, but Google is a name that's familiar to everyone and has become synonymous with free and affordable services (not to mention trustworthy). Plus the fact that it's open source means that it can be improved by anyone anywhere.

A First Look At Google Chrome Os
Chrome OS, has been released to open source and is now ready for download at a torrent site near you. The wait is over but, are curiosities satisfied? The Google Chrome OS is everything Google said it would be. It's a new kind of system experience, it's incredibly light and it really should be an operating system for netbooks.
Why does Chrome change the user experience? That's because you've never had an operating system that was a pure browser. That's right. When you start up your computer, you'll be greeted by the Chrome browser waiting to take you into the internet, but it's an incredibly quick boot.
You won't be able to do anything offline since all of the applications need to be connected to the internet to function.

The Google Smartphone
Not only do we get great smartphones like the iPhone or Android but now we're getting the Google smartphone. They've been a rumor before but now it's official, the phone is coming out early in 2010, a bit of a let down since it could have been released in the holiday seasons but, we'll get what we can take.
Reportedly, the phone won't be produced by Google, but it will carry their brand name. All the manufacturing will be done by some Korean manufacturing company. It should be good to see their vision of how a smartphone should be; I mean take a look at what they did with Chrome.

Pc Maintenance: How To Format Your Hard Drive On Windows Xp
I know that a lot of people out there pay a lot of money to reformat their hard drive. A format is like a fresh start and it'll make everything seem like it was brand new. So what exactly do you need before you embark on this journey of cleansing? You'll need your Windows installer CD, driver installers and all the essential things that you'd like to reinstall.
The first step to doing a format on Windows XP, as with any format that you might want to do, is to backup all your files. If you don't know how to backup your files then you should just save the programs that you want to keep unto a memory stick, a dvd or an external hard disk, or you can read up on how to backup your files.
Now, formatting your hard drive can be easy or hard depending on which which one you want to format.

The Gooogle Chrome Os Release
The Google Chrome OS might be the new kid on the block that's out to threaten operating systems like Mac or Windows, but it's going to have to prove a lot of things or otherwise, just prove itself to it's own people who spend most of their time on the internet. Luckily for us, we're not going to have wait any longer for our questions to be answered since chrome will be available for download sometime this week. There are several things to expect from it but, there might be people out there that might expect too much from it.
For one thing, the Google Chrome OS is meant for netbooks rather than full blown desktops.
