You might not have heard about it, but there's an ongoing battle for your internet privileges. What I believed to be a battle between Google and AT&T is a wide scale battle for net neutrality. If you've heard about this and you have no idea what this means, I’ll try to explain it in the most understandable way possible. Basically we're looking at a way to keep the net the way it is, or because of uncommon user experiences, the way it generally is. That means you get to go to whatever lawful site that you want whenever you want or doing whatever you want online as long as it's legal.

I seem to hear more and more about ergonomics these days. Friends and relatives constantly ask me how I work since because they know that I deal with computers a lot and I basically work around the clock, which really is the case when you try to do consultant work here and there, outsource programming and run a blog site. People everywhere are starting to feel the need for ergonomics because they too work around the clock on computers. Whether you're a clerk, a manager of your own store or even if you barely deal with a computer at all, you'll start feeling the stress of a desk job.

One of the things that you might overlook about your computer is keeping it clean on the outside as well as the inside. Yes, we do give our computer a lot of attention but we also tend to overlook things as basic as cleanliness. People and especially a few of my friends actually just focus on Software improvement, hardware improvement and the general improvement of the area. So, I was riding with a buddy of mine and he says that he needs to pick up his girlfriend. Not having anything to do by myself, I decided to go with him since we were going out anyway. We're in the living room waiting for her to come downstairs. She said that she was ready to leave but she was waiting for her pc to shutdown. We were waiting for thirty minutes before I decided to check what was up. And there she was; sitting in front of her pc, staring at a blue screen that said "Windows is shutting down." My initial reaction was to smack my forehead, but then I just went to reboot her pc and started taking care of the problem.

There are a bunch of technical stuff you can do on your computer yourself because they are just that easy to do and it would just be too much trouble to have a technician do it for you. Installing hardware is one of the things that you have to learn how to do yourself. When you want to upgrade part of your computer and you already spent a hefty some buying the component, you probably don't want to spend more to have someone do it for you. It's just like doing improvements in your home. When you want to do some improvements you should know enough to do them yourself because it's your home and no one else's.

There are several uses for a computer. The one we use at home is different from the one we use at work and it's different from the ones that engineers use. We know that there are a of lot components for very specific purposes but you also need to know that there are different breeds of a desktop computer and yes, they are different from all other kinds of computers. For one thing, a desktop computer is different from a laptop. Their names are obvious enough to illustrate the difference so I will not go into that matter.
