One of the major partners that's all set to provide you with your healthy dose is Marvel. This is probably one of the best solutions to online comic book piracy. Although some people might think that not holding on to anything hardbound is worth paying for, I'd like to remind those people that they can buy still buy regular comic books rather than read something from their PSP. This is probably one of the best steps to counter act piracy since rather than buy the actual comic book some people would rather download their favorite book.
If you truly enjoy something, then you should support your industry and pay for what you're enjoying. They should have realized this a long time ago! They have the same demographic and they don't really compete with each other. A comic book comes out on a monthly basis while new games come out on a seasonal basis. They do very little to come into conflict with each other. Although this is nothing new since comics were already available as a free PSP download even before this new innovation, it wasn't done in such a large scale that included major titles that also included a build up of a simple collection into a vast library. Come December, comics should be one of the major PSP downloads because, really, gamers are comic book fans above any other thing that they might have going on. That's why superhero video games are one of the most popular genres selling themselves on the gaming market.
