Laptops can be hell to take care of. If you can constantly upgrade your desktop parts so that you'll never have to buy a new desktop, you can't replace every part of your laptop. Most of them don't even last very long. Never mind that the battery doesn't last as long as it used to or if it's functional at all. As it is, you're spending a whole lot of money on a piece of technology that'll have a lifetime of 5 years tops and will be outdated a year and a half after its release.

With the Snow Leopard out on the market and Windows 7 coming out on October, I think it's time we updated our buying list. A lot of people want to have the cheapest solution available, but they don't want to be ripped off. You might want to put price above quality, especially in times of recession, but let's face it, quality comes at a price. Although there's nothing wrong with getting a second hand laptop, you should really think about getting something new to support the Windows 7 and Snow Leopard. If you've been ignoring all the news about Windows 7, then you need to listen now.

After months of rumors that have literally gotten us nowhere, Gizmodo pops out with the latest and hottest news of the Apple tablet. Basically, you're looking at a really big iPhone that should cost a lot more than the price of an ordinary netbook, coming out at an estimated cost at about $700-900. The Apple tablet should look like an iPhone with a ten inch screen and probably the same buttons, however the design may change between the leak and the actual release date. The top secret Apple baby deserves all the hype that it's getting because all the mystery surrounding it really is interesting.

I thought I was never going to write about it, let alone take a side (sort of), but I believe I'm going to be adding to the long standing write ups of PC vs Mac. Now why did I say I was taking a side (sort of)? Well, first off I wouldn't be writing this stuff if I didn't come across a certain article about certain videos that Microsoft. I'm going to stop beating around the bush now. Have you ever heard of Laptop Hunter? I didn't give it a second thought when I first saw the video because to me, they were just obviously showing just another of the big difference between the PC and the Mac and I believed that it was practically common knowledge.

Technology advances at a very alarming rate. The latest gadget is barely out of the woodwork when the latest toy is already planned and developed. Within a year or two of release, the newest thing out there becomes the oldest thing out there and it becomes obsolete and needs to be replaced. If you want to be technologically competent you need to be versed in the most efficient tools. Within a span of 3 years, a laptop is considered dead, but it should still be functional. If you're pretty attached to it or if you think it's functional enough for you, all you need is to maintain its capacity for performance.
