So the other day I posted 3 easy tips to personalize your Facebook account; in retrospect, I don't think that they were incredibly helpful and I don't think they change your experience of using it. But if you think that it was a good start then I've got lot's more where that came from. After a little digging with Google, I found a couple of applications that really can change your experience as a user. I've tried these out myself and I personally think that it's made things easier for me as a whole, so I hope that you can use it to. Basically it took care of some nuisances for me by making some applications accessible without logging in. advertisement
Be honest with yourself; one of the annoying things about using Facebook is that you have to log in. there are times when you just want to chat with people who are online, but you don't want to go through the trouble of doing it on your browser where a lot of other stuff can just get in the way, plus the fact that it can slow down some browsers. I haven't tried this with other browsers but I was chatting with Miss Amy one time and every time a new message would arrive, Firefox would lag for a second. It's pretty inconvenient if you're playing a flashgame like Pet Society or even worse, Typing Maniac. So, if you're doing something else and you don't want to go through the trouble of opening your browser, then you should try installing Gabtastik.
It's simple and it can even work on Google talk. Another great application that might make Facebook more appealing to you is removing the ads. Ads are the lifeblood of websites. A lot of websites are run by ads. This is a common fact. Whenever you click on an ad, you'll be helping the website out. So, if you love using your Facebook account, then please click on the ads and help out. However, if you're one of "those" people who don't like ads because they just confuse you and they're not exactly what you're looking for, then you want to try Facebook Cleaner. It's a simple script that you can install so that you don't have to deal with ads. And if you're feeling more patient than your usual self, you can always change your settings to remove the script. When I say lifeblood, I mean lifeblood. You'll be giving a lot of support just by clicking on something that you can easily close. Besides, it might even be useful to you. These are just a couple of the things that you can try out. You can probably search for more applications on the web and find better applications that I posted.
